  5. Scalable Rule Based Arch (JMS)
    Using java messaging system, client applications send xml messages. based on message types, engine takes action on verfies against rules. Actions and Rules can be configurable
  6. db performance monitor
    Using OLTP benchmarks test mysql and oracle on 2 platform windows and redhat linux
  7. JMS based synchronization
    Often RDBMS becomes a bottleneck for big systems e.g. banking system. This JMS based software will use number of different rdbms servers and will synch them as required - as per criteria specified by the user.
  8. A simple database objects caching
    Create a configurable java based Object Cache. Objects would be returned/updated based on updateDateTime. Compare this cache against JBoss Cache
  9. Prototype of hybrid database (XML + rdbms)
    Create a generic architecture which will store xml document in rdbms tables. It should support Xquery 1.0
